Board of Trustees Commends the Work of Nazarene Bible College
There are many words that seem to describe this past week at Nazarene Bible College. It has been busy, exhausting, exhilarating, and inspirational. It started off with the annual golf tournament that will be affectionately remember as the year of snow golf. It ended with the annual Board of Trustees meeting.
After some great fall days in Colorado Springs, a cold front moved into town dropping the high temperature 40 degrees from the previous day’s high, bringing with it the first snow of the season. However, the cold and wet conditions didn’t diminish the enthusiasm of those who braved the weather and proved just how little common sense golfer’s have. Actually, it was a great day.
It was exciting to have the newly elected Board of Trustees (http://www.nbc.edu/about/college-governance.php) on our college campus. No school could have a better group of people that enthusiastically support the work of the college. The Board complimented those at NBC for all the great work being done to help prepare men and women for Christian ministry within the Church of the Nazarene through spiritual formation and Bible classes offered on campus and online. Special recognition was given to the quality of college education delivered to hundreds of college students around the world, who will serve as pastors and Christian ministry leaders for many years to come.
