NBC Alum Named as Leader of Olivet's Ed.D. Program
Dr. Houston Thompson, a 1979 graduate of Nazarene Bible College, has been named the new director for the doctor of education program at Olivet Nazarene University. After the conclusion of his NBC Christian education, he went on to earn his doctor of education degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Originally an Indiana resident, he, his wife Martha, and their daughter Becky reside in Bradley, Illinois.
For the past three years, Dr. Thompson has served as the education program's dissertation coordinator. Before being appointed to this exciting new role, he also served as chair of Olivet's department of social work and criminal justice. Currently, he plans to continue serving as the department chair and as the director of education simultaneously. To conclude, NBC is delighted to congratulate Dr. Thompson's on his achievements, and wishes blessings to him and his family on this exciting new venture.
