Course Description

A course intended to examine human issues classified as abnormal, with attention to diagnosing and developing treatment plans.

Course Objectives

The following learning objectives will be achieved by this course:

  1. Understand how abnormal behavior is categorized using the DSM-5 Clinical case formulation.
  2. Understand the best practice treatment planning options for a diagnosis.
  3. Understand how to resource clients, including when a referral is indicated and how to use the DSM-5 Clinical Case Formulation when referring a client.
