Open Position: Lead Pastor, Castro Valley Church of the Nazarene San Francisco Bay Area

Castro Valley Church of the Nazarene in the San Francisco Bay area. This is a suburb, bedroom community for Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and Oakland. Three language ministries in one context: English, Spanish, and Chinese. We have begun our search for a staff associate to aid a process of investment in our changing community, specifically young families with kids. 

Membership: 175, Sunday attendance 125. 

Preferred: married couple.

Specific: church planter gifts - self-motivated and task-oriented. Team player. Compassionate, gracious heart, listener. Ability to creatively minister to the current congregation and develop ministry to a new demographic. Have a call to preach.  Comfortable in a "traditional" setting yet have the ability to engage beyond the traditional socioeconomic demographic. The above characteristics match with our community and with the current makeup of our congregation and culture. This is a full-time position, with salary, housing, and benefits.
