Open Position on Canada West District

The fulltime position of Senior Pastor is open at the Rimbey Church of the Nazarene in Rimbey, AB, Canada.

Rimbey, AB is a small farming town with a population of about 2,500. The Nazarene church is one of nine Christian churches serving the community and surrounding area. Rimbey is nestled in the scenic Blindman River Valley amongst the rolling hills which border the Rocky Mountains with many parks and facilities.   It is less than a two-hour drive to three major city centers. Rimbey has a mortgage-free building and a parsonage. The church is thriving under the leadership of a transitional pastor. Last month saw ten baptisms! A growing children’s ministry now includes monthly outreach events. A church member has begun to lead a youth ministry. The senior pastor would be well-suited to equip the congregation in becoming incarnational within the area. The senior pastor should become familiar with issues facing our Indigenous peoples of Canada. There is also a growing international population, some of whom are becoming connected to our Nazarene people. This position is also suitable for American candidates as it is full-time.
