The Future Is Bright — and Your Impact Matters

Nazarene Bible College brings hope to mind every time I think about what this college is, what it does, and who it sends into the world.

Allow me to say on behalf of the entire NBC Board of Trustees: We are dedicated to the mission of this college, grateful for its leadership, and believing that the best days for NBC are just ahead.

A Mission Worth Everything

NBC exists to glorify Jesus Christ as Lord by preparing adults to evangelize, disciple, and minister to the world. NBC prepares women and men to express the love of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, in every community – an enduring, life-giving purpose. The great work of the Church, and of NBC, is to faithfully equip people to do that work for decades.

The reach of this college is broad and deep, not because of institutional ambition, but because its students answer a genuine call to Christian ministry and then live it faithfully.

This is the pathway of Christian ministry that NBC champions: accessible, affordable, Christ-centered formation that takes seriously both the academic preparation and the spiritual character of those who are called. NBC is a pathway that changes lives.

Our Confidence in the Leadership

The Board of Trustees take seriously the responsibility of overseeing this institution and stewarding this legacy. President Douglas Pierce and the leadership team of NBC are doing this work with integrity, creativity, and deep faith. Rev. Pierce is God’s leader for this season. We are grateful for every faculty member, administrator, and staff member. Their gifts, so well used, evidence an eternal return on investment.

A Special Word for Our Alumni and Students

To our NBC alumni: You are the proof. The work you are doing testifies to what NBC invested in you. We honor you and ask you to consider giving to make that journey possible for the next generation.

To our current students: We see your sacrifice and the weight you carry. Your calling matters, your future ministry matters, and we are in your corner.

April 28: Our First-Ever Day of Giving

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, NBC will hold our first Day of Giving, a community-wide celebration of generosity under the banner Focus forward. Together. Every gift made that day will go directly to the Ministerial Scholarship Fund, removing financial barriers for called and willing students.

The Board of Trustees is committed wholeheartedly, and we ask you to join us.

What Is God Asking You to Do?

For some, it's a financial gift on April 28. For others, it's a word of encouragement, a prayer lifted, or a conversation that brings someone into the NBC family. It all matters.

The students preparing for ministry and the communities they will one day serve deserve our best efforts.

Join the Board of Trustees, and join me, as we Focus forward. Together. on April 28.
