M19 Testimony
M-19 was masterfully presented and right on target with the direction our wonderful Church needs to take to be effective in making disciples in USA/Canada.
From the workshops that I was able to attend, the content demonstrated that our courses are in line with current thinking regarding preaching, church administration, evangelism and pastoral duties.
I did not get to attend as many workshops as I wanted, because I kept running into students, alums, pastors, and adjuncts. The conversations were very affirming. Pastoral Ministry grads were complimentary of their preparation. Several remarked of the positive response of their people to their preaching and thanked me for the preaching courses.
As I spoke to pastors, it was also apparent that our attempt to strengthen personal evangelism and missional principles in our courses are hitting the mark. The number one concern, was the struggle to get their people back on mission and take the church outside the walls. They received inspiring and helpful tools for this at M-19.
We will continue to make sure that proper emphasis is given in these areas and to prepare our students to be effective leaders.
I am thankful I was able to attend M-19.
