Rural Student Thankful and Attended To
I have been having a great time this fall with my History courses. I am in my last few days of those courses, and I have learned so much. Dr. Stelting has been a wonderful help and has added so much to our class discussion.
I am very thankful for all the help and people that I can reach-out to in this school. Since I live in a very rural area, it is nice to know I can get in touch with someone whenever I need it!
I haven't been a student at NBC really long; this is my second year. I am a full-time, stay-at-home mom. I am home schooling my children. I have been married 13 years this month to my husband Aaron. I home educate our two children, Olivia, 9 (cancer survivor), and Luke, 7. We live in a small rural community in Southern Ohio, Jackson.
I was called to ministry as a child but spent most of my adult life running from it. On July 1st, 2018, I was entirely sanctified at a revival given by Rev. Elaine Pettit. I didn't question my next move. I just put my application in and started NBC that August. My husband was sanctified that August as well, and both my children have asked Jesus into their hearts. Going back to college has been very difficult but has taught me to lean entirely on God. I cannot express how thankful I am for this college. The professors and staff have all been shining lights of God's glory on this journey I am taking. Every class I have taken has been focused on God, His word, and our future as ministers.
I would also like to thank all the wonderful staff and professors that work so tirelessly to make sure we students our being attended to, prayed for, and encouraged.
Thank you and God Bless!
