Visit from Retired Evangelist JoAnn Vineyard
Nazarene Bible College received a surprise visit from Nazarene Evangelist JoAnn Vineyard in the Lenexa offices. Rev. Vineyard is an NBC alumna graduating in 1995.
JoAnn is officially retired, but as she put it “one never really retires.” A matter of fact, she is off to Africa by invitation making this her 6th trip to Africa to hold revivals services. Her first invitation to Africa was in 1998. It was then that she was part of an evangelistic team called M & J with Mikke Goss, another NBC alumna.
When they both graduated from NBC, Mikke Goss was in a wheelchair, but God healed her, and she was able to walk strong the rest of her life. As an evangelistic team, they visited 36 States giving concerts (both singers), preaching revivals, and leading vacation Bible Schools.
JoAnn looks back fondly on her years as a student at NBC. “I loved NBC - Such good teaching and wonderful fellowship around coffee tables.” JoAnn was the 1st President of NBC’s women clergy group. She sang in the NBC choir and toured with the choir.
She admitted she did take one online class, but all the rest were on campus. Presently, JoAnn is Vice President of Colorado District’s Nazarene Missions International (NMI) and is Co-Worship leader at Buena Vista Church of the Nazarene.
God continues to use JoAnn in His kingdom work.
