ABHE'S 75th Annual Meeting Highlights

The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) reached their 75th Anniversary Year and had a grand Annual Meeting celebration, February 16-18, 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Steven Curtis Chapman was in concert in the closing banquet which was an unforgettable moment. ABHE gives thanks for God’s immeasurable faithfulness across these 75 years with eager anticipation for what God will do through them as they advance biblical higher education.

A significant milestone of the 75th Annual Meeting was the unveiling of a fresh vision for the future of biblical higher education. Here are some of the highlights and resources that will give them momentum moving forward.

The President of ABHE, Dr. Phillip Dearborn, gave the 1st plenary address to the 157 institutions that are a part of ABHE. He captured the framework of the strategic plan that maps out the future for Biblical Higher Education. (Plenary Address Videos https://www.abhe.org/abhe75-videos/)

The ABHE View Book was distributed which summarizes the revised mission statement, the new vision statement, and their strategic plan. (ABHE View Book https://www.abhe.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/2022-Viewbook-Web.pdf)

ABHE also unveiled a new logo and website (www.abhe.org)! This was inspired by Psalm 1 and is imagery of a tree rooted in God’s Word bearing its fruit in season.

The ABHE Story can be watched in 5 new videos: ABHE Past, ABHE Present, ABHE Future, God’s Faithfulness, and ABHE’s Mission and Vision which combines the first four videos into one video that tells it all. (The ABHE Story https://vimeo.com/showcase/9256057)
