Ministry Opening in Papau New Guinea

Is God calling you to teach, mentor and love high school students at the Kudjip School for Missionary Kids in Papua New Guinea?

This missionary will support the critical work of the Church of the Nazarene in Papua New Guinea by providing a high quality education for the children of the missionaries working in the Kudjip Hospital or the Melanesia/South Pacific Field Office. This is one-on-one teaching of approximately 4 to 5 students per year, each of whom have a home school or on-line school curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Teach a small group of students in grades 8 through grade 12 in a small school

Background:
The Kudjip School for Missionary Kids endeavors to partner with parents in their role to instruct their children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). By filling the role of teacher for Missionary Kid’s (MK’s), parents in full-time missionary assignments can know their children’s educational needs are being met. This is a great opportunity to serve by mentoring, teaching, and loving the children of our missionaries.

A teacher with non-teaching spouse will only be considered for this assignment if a suitable assignment for the spouse can be agreed upon and approved by the field strategy coordinator. This is a rural setting with reasonably good healthcare, but with no accessibility for the severely handicapped.
