History of NBC - Question 17
Did you know that the second floor of the Trimble library is host to The Wesley Room, a beautiful room dedicated to a special collection of Wesley volumes and memorabilia, and it provides a place for reading and research in Wesley studies? The construction of this room was supervised by an NBC student, Mr. Larry Grzesiowski, who was an experienced builder. A modest glass display case was built to house rare books and Wesley busts. The NBC Wesley Room was totally financed with funds provided by the local chapter of the Wesleyan Theological Society (WTSC), and a gift from the senior class of 1982. Organizers from the WTSC who orchestrated the building of the Wesley Room were Dr. T. C. Mitchell and Prof. C. E. Baldwin, both NBC faculty members at that time. The Wesley room was dedicated on May 24, 1984, and General Superintendent Jerry Johnson offered the prayer of dedication.
