Jesus commissioned the apostles, Paul instructed Timothy, and our pastors can disciple you.
Christians have a mandate to pass the faith on to the next generation. That's why most faculty members are active or retired pastors who can share their firsthand experiences in vocational ministry. From maintaining their own spiritual health amidst seasons of hardship to sharing effective discipleship strategies, our seasoned professors can teach newcoming pastors how to thrive in ministry.
Faculty members at NBC are practitioners as well as educators. The full-time faculty at NBC has more than 150 years of practical experience in pastoral or staff roles in churches of all sizes. Adjunct faculty members are nearly all involved in ministry within their own local churches.
Faculty members take a personal interest in students in a way that is unlike other colleges. Faculty members pray with students online, on the telephone, in their offices, and at local Nazarene churches.
