In 2007, I was just about to start full time studies at a university to finish out my degrees in preparation for Ordination when I noticed I was going to be short a few courses in the required studies track. I had just enough funds to do a year of full time in class study but not enough to go for another semester, so I was going to need some Distance Learning while I went back to work. A colleague suggested I look into NBC as it was both affordable, and I could continue to work while I learned.

At first, I was a bit skeptical as the last time I took an online course (University of Athabasca) I was very disappointed at both the delivery and the support. I have to say that was not the case with NBC. The instructors were very well-prepared and incredibly helpful, my classmates were incredible resources and a great source of support and, in the end, I could not be more happy with the results. I can only assume the program has grown and is even more of a blessing to those who are enrolled.

I am currently the Senior Pastor in a wonderful country church in the foothills of Alberta and serve as a Chaplain for our local hospital, our police force (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and as a summer Chaplain for the Canadian Armed Forces. I would highly recommend the course of study for Ordination through NBC and am so thankful I had the opportunity to attend those many years ago.

Blessings to all.
