My name is Cindy Charles, and I’m from the Metro New York district. I live in New Jersey, my husband is a pastor of a Haitian church — Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene — and I’m a full-time nurse. I’m a hospice nurse, and I just would really like to take this time to encourage students that are looking at different avenues of education. And I think it’s really great that this opportunity can fit into your schedule, and that you can have professors that really care about preparing you for ministry. So, check it out! Take one class. See how it fits you, and if it’s something that could really fit into your schedule, you’ll be able to accomplish your goals and dreams for full-time ministry before you know it.
Just from being a member of the board of trustees on the school for about seven years, I’ve found that people involved with the school are very compassionate about helping find out where the student is at their level and helping them achieve their unique personal goals. And I would like to encourage people just to try one class and see how much they would appreciate it, and if it fits into their learning style.
