Student Chat: Returned to School
I decided to return to school after a few decades off to obtain a degree in Christian Counseling; a call that the Lord gave me about 20 years ago! I was not ‘running’ from my call, just kept putting it off to concentrate on being a mom!
When I read about the Counseling for Christian Ministry (CCM) degree, I felt like it was the perfect fit for me! I have been taking online classes at NBC for a couple of years and really love it! I am pursuing the CCM degree and plan to use the education and skills that I gain to minister in a church setting as a counselor.
I have enjoyed my course work and have found the interactions between my classmates and my professors to be both encouraging and thought provoking! I am thankful that my journey has led me to NBC!
