One of NBC’s graduates from the Hispanic Pastoral Ministries program was highlighted in the denominational weekly news. Pastor William Castellanos, Class of 2020, planted and has been pastoring a Spanish-language congregation in Memphis, Tennessee. The news was that this congregation, called Iglesia del Nazareno Libertad en Cristo (Freedom in Christ Church of the Nazarene) was officially organized as a church on February 7, 2021. The MidSouth District organized seven new Hispanic congregations during the first two months of 2021. This is outstanding news.
