An IRA Charitable Rollover provides a way for those age 70½ to further NBC’s mission by directly transferring funds from an Individual Retirement Account in a way that lowers income and reduces taxes from IRA withdrawals.
It’s a simple way to give more strategically—and more generously—while reducing your tax liability.

How an IRA Charitable Rollover Works
1. Instruct your IRA plan administrator to make a gift directly from your IRA to NBC.
2. Your IRA funds will be sent by check or electronic transfer directly to NBC.
3. NBC will receive your gift and provide you with an acknowledgment for your records.
4. Your transferred amount will not qualify for a charitable deduction, but will not be treated as taxable income.
How to Initiate a Gift
• Contact your IRA plan administrator and request a gift from your IRA be sent directly to Nazarene Bible College (2020 N Academy Blvd, Suite 316; Colorado Springs, CO 80909). EIN #: 84-0635356
• Provide your custodian with the necessary instructions (many have online forms).
• Notify NBC so we can watch for your gift and thank you properly.
