An Eternal Investment: Gene and Ronoyce Grate
“Giving to Nazarene Bible College has actual eternal value,” says long-time Nazarene Bible College supporter Gene Grate, “because of the ministry of the men and women who become ministers, missionaries, teachers, and counselors. All of that can change lives forever, not only here.”
Gene and Ronoyce Grate have been faithful financial and prayer supporters of NBC for many years. They live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, near where the physical campus was for decades, allowing them to interact with students and staff. “We've known many of the students through the years. We believe in the mission of the Bible College in preparing ministers and missionaries for Christian service.”
Yet when the Bible College moved to an online only format in 2017, the Grates did not lessen their support! Instead, they continued their prayers “that God will raise it up to be a learning center for caring men and women for ministry around the world,” and continue to give generously.
Why? Because “it’s an eternal investment.”
“I would encourage people who have the resources to make Nazarene Bible College recipients of their charitable giving,” Gene says, “because it is not only an investment for here, it's an investment in eternity for the lives of the graduating. To support the work of men and women.”
When you donate to NBC – including on our Day of Giving on April 28 – you are investing in people and in the ministry work they will be doing for years to come!
Your giving now can make ministry education more affordable for NBC students, making sure graduates can enter their service fully dedicated to the work God has called them to do.
