NBC's Impact: Mapping Our Alumni

NBC Alumni are reaching the whole region for Christ!
NBC Alumni are reaching the whole region for Christ!

“I just knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I wanted what all the people coming out of NBC had.” (Jennifer Brewer-Wilkerson, current student)

For 59 years, Nazarene Bible College has been educating men and women for the ministry God has called them to do. Now, NBC’s alumni are now scattered across the USA Canada region, reaching their neighbors with the good news of Jesus Christ.

This map shows they live in large metropolitan areas and small rural communities – because God has called people to reach people. According to a study published in early 2026 in the National Library of Medicine, the average adult has 12 social interactions per day. This means NBC alumni represented in this map have the potential to touch about 200,000 people every day!

“When people have really sensed a call from God later in life, and they’ve already raised families and are established in life, I feel like they have a better focus of what God is calling them to do. With NBC giving them the tools of education and preparation, I feel like Alaska has been a good fit just because it requires a different kind of mentality and a different kind of pastor.” (Pastor Hunter Mizar, Alaska District Superintendent)

In 1987, then NBC President Dr. Charles Strickland wrote that “some gifts will perish with the passing of time, but some continue on and increase in their value as the years go by.” This continues to prove true of people like you who have supported and given to Nazarene Bible College and the ongoing preparation of new ministers.
